Making a box and need help

I’m making a box for my 10" for a little project. Is there a program out there that will help me with my problems? One that will be able to let me input my dimentions and give me all the other stuff like port sizes and such? Is there an equation I can use to find out port hole size?

Thanks

A great program is WinISD. I dont know off-hand where to find it, but search KaZaa, Google, and other places, and you’ll come across is pretty quickly.

I went looking for that before but I coldnt find it anywhere. I havent tried kazza yet thoguh, thanks for your help.

Also check out the boards (run a search) on www.elitecaraudio.com and www.caraudioforum.com (best audio site out there).

You’ll some across it somewhere.

I used to have it but forgot to back it up when I wiped my harddrive.

WinISD at http://www.linearteam.dk/winisd.html

arggggg…i went to speakerhold.com and they wont send me the box i wanted. I was just going to but a sealed one, input the dimentions and make it ported. Is there anywhere that will ship CHEAP boxes to Canada? Cheap but good quality, if that is ever possible…

build one man, mdf is like $24bux for a whole sheet, you can get home depot to cut the pieces for you, then you just need a drill some glue, some 1 1/2" screws and some silicone. Oh and a jigsaw.

Yeah, and 99% of pre-fab boxes are NOT the right size for YOUR sub… bad news.

Making one is EASY and rewarding.

Ok, Thanks Guys

Make sure to download the WinISD PRO alpha. I guess it’s better than the other ones on their site. Plus it comes pre-loaded with most of the more popular drivers parameters.

At least that’s what Dan Wiggins, CEO of Adire Audio says.
