making all red tails

i red the teg tips, and i’ve searched, but i’m gonna start a new thread anyway.

i have some milano red paint in a spray can, can i just use that to make my tails all red? do i paint the inside, or the outside?

You can do that, but youre tail lights wouldnt emit any light. You need the transparent candy apple red paint. You can buy it @ most hobby stores, and some import shops sell the japanese tail spray in red.

i did it to my tails a while back and i love it!!! good luck man!

PLEASE DO NOT PAINT YOUR REVERSE LIGHT AREA!!! You can get into a lot of legal trouble if you do.

i painted the whole thing then made my upper rear window break light into a reverse light… and im in the process of making a third break light with some leds where the emblems were… i havnt gotten pulled over or asked about it from any cops and i live in a small town and i see them all the time… but yeah i guess you could get in trouble
