Manual Car with auto motor Reverse LightsHelp

Hey I know there’s a article out there somewhere,
if one of you could point me to a good one that would be great!
I have a 91 GS that’s manual from factory but the guy before me who owned the car
Swapped out the 270,000+km old b18a1 and swapped it with a b18a1 that came out of a
Automatic from the same year.
The reverse lights will not work, I see the two wires coming up out of my trans I just don’t know what to wire them to/ how to test them to see if the reverse light switch even still works.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

The best thing to do is buy an Acura maintenance manual or a Hayes / chiltons on look at the wiring schematic for the auto and the manual to find what wires need to be connected. They should give the wire color stripe and band identification to make it easier.

Thanks for the advice! I do have access to a manual. I was hoping that someone could just give me a quick answer, and/or a better idea on how to wire them. I’ve been reading threw the manual but it’s still not very clear on how I can wire the AUTO motor to a MANUAL wiring harness.
