Manual Steering (not just the rack itself) Question - Searched

Alright. I’ve been looking around, and I’ve only really found threads talking about the special shims and spacers to use with a EF manual steering rack. I’ve yet to really find a definitive answer to whether or not I can just use the complete subframe from the CRX into my Integra.

Reason I don’t want to bother with just the rack itself, is that I have a 90 CRX HF parts car, and it’s manual rack and front rear subframe is there.

Can I just use the whole thing? Just remove the 4 bolts, and the 2 outer tie rods and just swap EVERYTHING from the CRX?

Thanks

No, the subframe will NOT fit. The bolts do not line up

Ah, thanks for that. So if I were to use the manual rack, I’ll need some spacers, and a custom bushing, right?

yes, that is correct. I did this swap and got my stuff from G2Guru. I am not sure if he is still making the custom bushing and the washers. Send him a message.

No hes not, but another member is making some and MRpenny has a set for sale in the parts for sale forum.
