This might seem like a novice question here, but I can’t figure out the correct way to get to the map light bulbs. I tried to remove the clear cover but it ended up cracking. Are they just really on there? Or am should I be removing the whole unit?
the plastic was most likely just britle from being old. youve got the right idea. look for the little slot on the front or back where it looks like you can stick a screw driver in to pry it apart.

Yeah they must have just been old and on there good. I used a small flat head and went in by the button to turn the light on. Tried to go around the edges but it just didn’t want to pop off in the middle and ended up cracking. Anyone have a new driver side lens?
You to put both hands face up and place your finger tips on the front side, then you pull the entire part straight back and you should be able to pull the back part down first while still adding pressure towards the back.
