Master Cylinder swap? An ABS unit into a non-abs?

I just recently picked up another 90 integra for 800$ 126K on it, auto trans(gonna have to swap that later from my 90 GS. the new one is an LS). Anyway i think the master cylinder is bad. if you’ve been driving the car on the highway for awhile the brakes will be firm, but if you are in the city and are braking somewhat frequently, the pedal gets squishy and when youre at a stoplight it slowly squishes to the floor. From my searches I was able to figure out that this is probably the master cylinder seal. The 90 GS that i have and is my parts car is an ABS model. The new LS doesnt have ABS. Are the master cylinders swappable, maybe by picking up a fitting and blocking off something? I dont know the difference in the master cylinders as I’ve never had to service one before. Are there any special tools, or certain things to consider when doing a master cylinder change? This is one of the few things that I’ve never done on an integra.

Also, how long might the old one last? I’m planning on swapping motors and transmissions (the fabled automatic to manual conversion) from my GS, and if i can, i will wait until i have the LS motor out before swapping the master cylinder so i have more room to do so. can someone give me pointers on how difficult this is? As far as my skill level, i’ve swapped the motor in my old GS before, but that was a direct replacment. Did that with only hand tools and a
cherry picker in my driveway… took me a minute, but i got it done. the plan for the new LS is to have the motor and trans already out of the old GS by this season, and next spring/summer I will pull the motor out of the LS. So the question is can the master cylinder wait a season, or should i do it right away? And yes, I’ve done a bit of searching, but I never seem to get the answers I’m looking for when i did search.

the fitting sizes on the master cylinder are different. the abs model has one 12mm fitting and one 10mm fitting if i remember correctly. the fittings on the lines going into the mc are all 10mm on the non abs car. i think the abs car mc has a 1" piston versus the non abs mc’s 15/16" piston. the hot setup is a non abs car with an abs master cylinder (or abs removed car like me). you will need an adapter fitting. see my abs removal thread. search under my old name, turbogeekda6. if u want to keep your abs, stay with an abs mc. good luck!
