I have a choice of getting MaxSpeed or AroSpeed coilovers, wich are better the maxspeeds are 179 and the arospeeds are 129 wich offer a better ride wich are softer and any coments apreaciated.
I would like to know this as well. I heard aerospeed is a nice ride.

I have arospeed and it ain’t a nice ride at all. Maxspeed is good. Heh… I notice that I’m replying to all your post message.
not to bash on them or anything… but save up just a little more and you can get a better set of used coilovers.
If you buy the aerospeeds you will regret it. For around $200 you can find a set of used GC’s. My little bro has aerospeeds on his 89 EF and it weighs alot less than the teg and it bounces like a piece of ****. He got them for free. Wonder why?
again…you get what you pay for.

as far as i understand the bouncyness in a ride is all do to shocks the coil overs will jsut effect the stiffnes of the ride and how u feel the bumps. But yeah i ahve decided to go with cheaper coils because i know people with cheap coils who have a good ride wit them ( both arospeeds and maxspeeds) so i think im sticking with those to brands and i was wondering if anyone ahs expreince THEMSELVES wit them… one coil brand can be completly diffrent in one car then another.

yea well seems to me liek ur the only one that has had them on there DA and had bad expreince. if Maxspeeds ar that much better i guess i can get htose…
okay so i heard wrong!
person i talked to had maxspeeds on his da, he said they were pretty stiff. Instead of asking how the ride feels, and getting pissed off at people tryin 2 give you suggestions, look up the spring rates of those 2 brands.

Right on AzianKitTy. heh… I had Arospeed on my car when I got new set of shocks. Rode pretty okay after a couple of months it bottom out the shocks. I got some Drop Zone coilover I traded XDEep for something. He put it on bottom out his shocks as well. Ride isn’t good. Keep on bouncing. He got KYB AGX for the front. It got a little better but he finally decided to go back to sport springs he bought himself eibach sportline springs put it on felt more stiffer and ride quality greatly improved.
You know my set up already. The rear shock I change it to KYB GR2. The front shock I’m running stock shock. Which I had put away for back-up. Luckily I did put it away instead of throw it away.
ya ditto to POS
if anything the maxspeed. groundcontrol would be safest bet. as far as springrate, the cockzones were 350/275 i think. so unless they are lying through their teef the springrate shouldnt matter unless youre comparing different models of the same brand/winding.
speaking of kyb, someone needs to put an end to the rear EF agx debate
i had aerospeed with tokico blues and lowered 1.5 in front and 1.2 in back and it was alright didnt bounce as much as everyone says you drop the mother with crappy shocks
i meant to say if you use crappy shocks then you will bounce. but for track and all that if you are a weekend warrior then get good coilovers. but daily driving the aro’s are aight(with good shocks)
I’m running Maxspeeds with my Konis and love them.
