Middle class problems

Well it’s about fucking time you found a clue…

A quote I once heard definitely applies to you:

“If ignorance is bliss, some fuckers are orgasmic.”

Ah, to live in a constant state of euphoria. Must be nice.

Lol okay whatever you say… Your not even worth the time but thanks for your opinion that i could care less about.

You’re not even worth the time. Your is a possessive. You’re is a contraction for you are.

Mister grammar police…

Okay internet protocol police…

armedferret: No offense taken. I have always respected you for calling it as it is. I re-read my post and I am switching letters around and omitting some letters also. According to the wife, I speak in fragments also. lol

The seller backed out on selling the s2000. According to the wife, he had no intentions of selling it in the first place. I wish I could have least gotten a test drive. The search for something newer and fun continues.

Even though it’s gotten to a (pointless to go on) thread, I think I will keep it going for a bit… I was unaware that they are going to make a frs/brz convertible… :-/ …Went and did a google search and I’m not to sure I like it. Either way it is nice that it’s a 4/5? seater still. And that it’s also a rwd roadster. I think if you like the hardtop on the s2000 you might as well get the frs/brz as a hardtop. Although having the option of a convertible is nice. As far as 15k being a great deal, if you look around there are a bunch of clean ones for sale around the same price range and some even less. Yes, with clean titles and average millage. Here is the thing I don’t get. I hear so many Honda people say “Oh I want to make my fwd honda a race/track car but I also want an s2000 as my daily.” WTF is that crap. I’m shocked when people say that…If you want both wouldn’t you want to build up the s2000 as a fun daily that is also a way better/designed car to be on the race track. Then use your reg DA (your first car) as your daily to carry the family around. I love real DB2’s. LOVE THEM! I miss mine but I sold it to a good adult home along with one other car I had to buy my truck. (Something functional for me.) What I would do is as stated above…Buy your wife a nice/good reliable car. Keep your DA (1st car and all). Sell all your other cars if you really can do without them. (I Personally know how hard that is though. For me it’s easier said than done.) Then save a bit of cash if you don’t have enough after selling your other cars/getting your wife something nice, then hit up craigslist or a dealership for a nice s2000 or frs/brz…

A whole bunch of them in that same price range.

P.S. I still have my 1st car. 92’ Toyota Paseo. Although now it has a built 5efhe/4efte combo…With a turbo attached to it of course.

The s2000 model has mileage in the high 20k miles range. So she is pretty much a garage queen. The only modification it has is a k&n drop in filter. The ones on craigslist are either salvaged, modified, soft top or much higher mileage. The wife wants to talk to me this weekend in regards to the s2000. She might be hounding the husband to sell it. I am a little unhappy about being strung around the first time though.

I completely agree with you that an s2k will run circles around me on a track. I will push the limit of my driving abilities at the track and am sure I would either wreck it or go off the track and do a little damage to the car. The DA to me is more expendable than the s2k.

Wife already has a reliable commuting car and the family goes in the minivan when we go out. I just thought that a very low mileage, all oem, mint condition s2000 was too good to pass up.

Any pictures of the Paseo? I remember when the Paseo first came out. Thought it was a Toyota Paced based on the lettering on the back.

All you guys make a lot of sense. I was hoping for “go ahead you only live once” or “hell of a deal and just go buy it.”

I should add a disclaimer next time. English is my second language :run:

I just wrote an entire F’ing post and it timed out, then logged back on and went to a blank page. SWEET!!! I’ll just sum it up.

Understandable. Well Then buy it if/when he sells it. Sounds like a good deal. If not it’s true, for the price it will be hard to beat but there are nice ones still out there. Even if it has a bit higher than you want mileage it still might be nice to have and drive and beat on from time to time. Yea mileage matters but if you maintain it a lot of times you should be good. Or tasteful mods. As long as THEY didn’t beat on it to hard…Which generally if it has mods chances are they did. lol
