I have a milano pink db2 with 162k miles. All maintenance done so this car will last me a very long time. My 93 DA has slightly over 200k miles with all the maintenance done also. So she too will last a very long time.
I prefer driving the DA as apposed to the db2 or s2000 to work:
Don’t believe it is a thief target. No radio and stock db2 alloys
Isn’t high strung like the db2 when cruising the highway to work. Will test drive s2k.
Sounds meaner compared to the db2 (yes I am a ricer). Will test drive s2k.
Would like the motor to die and swap in rebuilt motor and have a reliable track car. But, the 200k motor runs perfectly fine.
My first car I bought, so it has a lot of sentimental value (stupid, I know). A car is a a mode of transportation right?
No comes the problem. My coworker’s husband has a 01-02 silver s2000, oem hardtop with maybe 40k miles for $15k. All maintenance record and all the receipts. I have seen it in the garage once and it looks mint. I didn’t get into the details before, but he may sell because he is losing the storage spot in a couple of weeks. I will ask for more details if I really should consider buying it. We have a minivan for family outings, wife with her work car with my 2 G2s. With the s2k, it would be 5 cars for 2 drivers.
I have always wanted a s2k, but once I picked up the db2, the want isn’t as strong. Vtec baby :burnout: I have 2 kids, so the s2k is virtually useless. But, a low mileage mint s2k with oem hardtop is hard to pass up. If he sells and I don’t pick it up, his friend is already in line.
Options:
Wait for fr-s or brz convertible. Then can cruise with wife and kids in the back.
Pick up and use the db2 as a full time work transport and convert da into full track car. All she is needs is a rollbar or rollcage
Sell all g2s (coworkers idea) and use wifes car for work (wife only works 2 days a week) and use the s2k when she needs the car for work. Coworkers like new and shiny things, so they don’t understand g2 love :-* or that being an adult now, you don’t have to follow the joneses.
What makes this middle class problems? Whats that even supposed to mean? You would think middle class society would know how to use proper english… It sounds like to me that you should research the ap chassis a little more so you can use correct terminology.
I’d feed my kids, buy the wife something nice and put some of that money into a trust fund for them when they hit college or for when they (or you) retire so there will be some sort of money to rely on other than social security.
Or if I were a jerk, go back to college and invest in some composition classes like these other guys are suggesting, lol.
Honestly, this is a very open ended question with too many variables to consider.
My recommendation is to buy it and sell one of the g2s. When you are on your death bed do you want to be thinking, " I should have bought that S2000". I have 5 cars, and if I see something I want and I can afford it, I buy it. You
can always sell it if things don’ t work out. I don’t see many S2000 anymore.

We are more worried about lcd vs led vs plasma, designer clothes, purses, the latest Lebron James shoes, types of cars, and etc. I know my question is trivial, like much of the middle class issues. So I was poking fun of myself also. I would love to throw insults at you also, but what’s the point. G2 love baby

Priorities all in order. A few of OG members have met my wife and kids. They know that nothing is more important to me than family. Finances are set, so I am just getting a little bored.

The 93LS will be a track car. Hopefully I can join up with Colin at Button willow. And I love the db2 also. I would buy it, but the wife would like me to wait for the fr-s/brz convertible. 5 cars, nice. The wifey must be a car enthusiast also?
It is a waste of money Stu. I am having a hard time pulling the trigger. The car is so mint though. I might be taking a look at her tomorrow and take her for a spin.
btw bonestock i meant no insults just telling you that maybe just maybe its kind of hard to take somebody serious when their grammar use isn’t so great… Escpecially if their claiming middle class, if you were an 18yr old kid from bumfuck egypt asking in slang the same question i would’ve just passed over thread… i meant no disrespect bud, so if i disrespected YOU and only you i apologize… This site is filled with stupid questions sometimes so again i apologize… i only point out the facts bro…
If you’re going to nitpick someone for it, it kind of helps to actually be ABOVE the level of intellect for which you’re chastising them.
Kind of like picking your nose while yelling at someone for…picking their nose. I believe it’s covered under “hypocrisy” in the dictionary (which is where you can look that word up if you’re unclear on the meaning).
