MIDWEST-Hot Import Nights Chicago 5/10/2008 - 5pm-MIDNIGHT

Hot Import Nights @ McCormick Place

Ok Midwest g2ic.com members, This years HiN is just around the corner!!!
For all you guys and girls who put your integra on jack stands for the winter, dust of those tires and join me for a night of fun @ McCormick Place.

i may go to this with some friends…lets see if i can get off work. We went last year, my first time at a larger car show & my first time at HIN obviously. it rocked! definitley not something you guys want to pass up!!!

ive been very disappointed with HIN the last 2years. expensive to get in, even more overpriced to put ur car in there.

heh yeah. the indoor hin is more expensive to get a spot, but if your on a budget theres always Night Shift. lol

This year i would like to actually attend the show! last year when HiN came to Chicago, i JUST bought my integra (1 day before) and i rushed to “Top Speed”, the nearest auto accessories store, and grabbed every part that i could afford. shakes head at the end of the day, i didnt have money to get in! ha ha HA!

this integra is the first Honda that ive ever owned. and it amazes me to see just how easy it is to get after market parts. I had to part ways with my 83 celica supra just because i couldn’t find a diff. wear as with the teg, most owners get frustrated if they cant find one pieces and side markers. :naughty:

owning a performance FF Honda has really opened my eyes. with my celica supra it was all about drifting. but now, i feel that i could make a good track car with the teg, with the dual purpose of daily driver, which would be VERY expensive with any 23 year old car.

HiN is a great excuse to stare at b-o-o i mean cars, while forming a strong relationship with others in the tuner industry, in a club environment.

i suppose, i just feel that if you want to create those relationships theres better ways of going about it then paying 300ish to put ur car in some show.

the one in atlantic city when i went half the place was empty. (not meaning spectators, im talking about the floor).

it’s more expensive, so they can make some money from companies who put their cars in and can afford it…also all the things they have to pay for to put the show together costs money :P. But yeah’ my only grudge was the price, but w.e my first large car show

yeah it all boils down to money. LOL

well if you want to make a compromise, we could do a drive from old orchard to lower wacker , to McCormick. or after lower wacker, hit up chinatown for some drinks!

any takers???

:bump: any takers for a cruise?
