Mr. Glynn notified me about an free open lap day at highplains. I gave them a call and i guess the date is going to be determined christmas eve depending on how the weather is like. Im totally stocked. So i need to get my clutch ordered and in by then…yikes!!!

Oh gawd im totally sorry, I didn’t even see this post. Were you able to make it to the show? We were actually RIGHT in front of Honda, which is good and bad since Honda is ALLLLL the way in the back so foot traffic was whatever, but It was a fun overall show got to see friends that I only get to see once a year like guys over at Darton Sleeves. Would be funny if you passed by and I didn’t even notice haha.
Great to see the progress on the car, there is ALOT of posts that I’ve missed so its gonna take a while for me to catch up, haha would you like to give me the cliff notes version of whats going on? Is your Bf gonna be driving any upcoming time trails, or race events over at button willow or streets/big
willow? Or is pretty much everything done for this year?
Hard to keep up with thread, moves alot in just a short amount haha, don’t spend much time anymore on this board sadly since my integra is pretty much just hibernating in the garage for the past couple of months sadly.

You probably decided to answer me now caucse you were scared I was going to show up at your stand!! didnt you! lol. tsk on you! jk I guess I understand. I did actualy make the show. I went wed-friday. Stayed at the show I think on average 5 hours a day there. My goddd…did my feet start getting tired…espcially when mini decided she didnt want to wear the right walking attire. Right in front of honda? So by all those crz’s? I was there foreverr…:[ totally missed you guys. I think I was looking for you guys in the wrong area too.
lol yea…this thread moves but half of it is nonsense unrelated to my gf talk. But pretty much the run down is…I got the turbo set up done…but didnt get the fuel pump in it. Tuned it so its streetable until I got one in. Got one in…re tuned it and been driving it but girl needs a clutch. Pretty much the many pages that you missed was summed up there :].
Yea we’re pretty much done racing until next season. Probably starting back up in March I think. So its not that far away from now. That will give me some time to get some more things done on my car. Get your car out of hibrination. I talked to her last night. Shes mad at you.
I think its still open. I gave them a call and it said that this last weekend, it was closed because of not enough sign ups but all payments made are credited. Then this week of christmas they re closed and the week between christmas and new years they are going to open up 2 free open lapping days to thank all of their 2010 customers. It wont be annonced until christmas eve though because they need to see how the weather is like during that week to plan out the dates. We can still make it!!!
For sure! Oh and i heard that PPIR has the same thing. Not sure but maybe the day after christmas so this coming sunday. I have to get a confirmation on that though.
Ordered my clutch today. Was going to go with spec, but they gave me the quotes and I got a good quote on the excedy and competition clutch. I decided to go with the competition clutch cause it held more and was less…I know, not everyones first pick…but I didnt see why not. I need one and its cheap, holds the power and next day shipping for 8 bucks. pow! ;D
i’ve heard good and bad thing with competition clutches. i have a buddy who has had really bad luck with them and they slipped everytime. which one did you get?

Clutch came in literally next day…it was friggen awesome. I forgot to get a pic but I’ll do that tonight maybe, stuck at work right now. But it probably wont go in until next week. Theres no room in the garage right now and we don’t have a lift to use anymore. :[
Track day tomorrow so just lowered the power down to about 2 lbs. And making an oil catch can tonight. Lots of work to be done before the night is over. Yay for track day!!

Track day was great, wish I got a chance to go out there more than I did. Car ran f-ing great!!! But near the end my fan decided it wanted to melt. But thats the least of my worries, going out there thinking my car would have given out on me or something. She’s a trooper! Got some pictures to put up, and NO! shes not a trailer queen Glynn!! she just wants to be well rested on the way there and home. haha Sorry I dont have any interesting photos. This is all I have. I only took sitting ones. Didn’t bring a camera only my phone. The catch can got done that night before. I haven’t taken a picture yet but I will soon so everyone can see it ;]. That is all for now.
