Misfire/Cutout at 3500rpm

So recently my 93 integra rs took a pooop.

One day i was pushing the motor pretty hard and in the process of slowing down i threw a CEL… Then the engine wont allow me to rev above 3500 and it kind of bounces there almost like i have 2 step.

I replaced my Ecu with a fresh one and the problem is still there. I threw a code and when i jump the connector it says i have cranksensor and another sensor i forget which one. So now im going through all my sensors and making sure there connected and secure. They all visually look O.K but my car is still running like crap and im just a little mind boggled.

Any help is appreciaited as im trying to get the teg back on the road again. Or how do you test the sensors to make sure there still working??

Post the exact codes you are getting if you want to narrow down the issue better and get help.

There are dozens of sensors on the car, each one having a different testing procedure.

Until you post the CEL there is no point in testing sensors unless it is related to the CEL.

I get codes 14 and and 7 which are TPS (throttle position sensor) and IAC (Idle air control valve)

your tps is probably shot use an oscilloscope to test it there should be no breaks in the voltage or line graph… should start at .5v and go up to 4.5v as you open the throttle plate slowly

iacv idle air control valve shouldnt have an effect on your rpm not going passed 3500…usually a bad iacv will give you a bouncy idle etc
