Get the purolater pure one filter. thats what ive been using and have never had a prob with it. Also it comes in a cool looking blue color too.
actually the fram filters are made by honeywell and the oem honda filters are made by a company called Toyo Roki mfg, who also make all honda and kawasaki motorcycle filters.
the canada made filters which are sold here at least the honda dealer i goto are made by fram.
Ah, pretty sure I dont want one made by FRAM, could you tell just by looking at it, aka was it stamped FRAM or somthing?
ok i did some more reasearch. the ones for canada are made by fram. for the us by a company called lima. for the rest of the world by toyo roki.
Oem filters are made by toyo roki, honeywell(fram), and filtech.
Have been using Castrol GTX and Puralator Pure One for the last 75K miles on my 292K mile RS. The head still looks golden and clean. Pure One is the best value for the price I think, and can be found at most auto parts stores.
