hey guys i have a problem with my teg due to montreal poor weather i have a rust problem on the front driver side where the body is welded next to the engine mount … sorry for the poor picture i bought my camera 70$ at radio shack loll so yeah can u give me a hint on how to fix that i dont really wanna part it out thats like the only part of the car thats like that the right side is perfect not even one spot of rust … so im waiting for propositions thanks
if it something that bad, you’ll either have to take it to the shop to sand the rust and weld in the metal or do it yourself if u know how to weld… but all rust must be remove by any means of grinding, sanding, or cutting, so that it won’t happen again…
Most body shops will weld metal around there. my buddy had his entire strut mount welded back in
ok thanks guys im going to check with my friend he has a welder and he studied in that
my beater has rust in that exact same spot.
hehe we come from the same place i see the only problem is its not my beater lollll
Don’t worry, if it’s the only spot you have rust, your car is clean as hell.
My project base as a lot more rust that that.
