Anyone know if a 92 prelude oem visor would fit? I see plenty of used da visors but most are so old the rubber seals are suspect. I can find plenty of other brand new oem visors for other Hondas around the same time frame. I’m assuming the older visors all use the same mounting hardware and maybe just vary in widths slightly?
good news I bought a brand new oem 96-00 civic moonroof visor and it fits perfectly like someone said earlier. $42 dollars shipped in original box, nice compared to used ones going for $40-60 with dried out rubber seals and scratched acrylic. Easy to find on eBay, just says Honda instead of Acura.
I was just curious . . . can you measure your new visor from end to end? I’d really like to buy one myself. Even better . . . can you post up or send me pics of it on your car? My car has the residue of having had a OEM moonroof visor from a past owner and the 96-00 EK fits exactly over the old marks. Its about 35 inches wide. And you don’t need the original mounting hardware, the civic hardware must be identical, and works perfectly. I emailed you the photos. I haven’t seen an OEM DA one up close in person, but from pics its looks the same.
I was mad I missed winning a couple ebay auctions by a couple dollars for used OEM DA ones, but turns out better. With a flawless new acrylic visor, rubber gasket, and new hardware(even comes with protective tape for your paint). Most used visors I saw had ashy rubber, scratched or dull acrylic and missing hardware. Kinda nice it says Honda on it too since most cats rock the honda badging anyways.
