i also like the mugen side skirts, but i am not sure if the replicas are available anywhere…

Yo so i just mounted my g3s they look great cept i was unsure how to rid the part that goes under the door seeing as the pics on this thread NEVER FREAKIN LOAD =P so yeah if someone will let me know how or email me pics of this i’d be really apreciative. masamune009@earthlink.net
just need to reinforce the middle with 2 screws an dit will line up good…
dont mind the paint too stupid clearcoat made it dark!

very clean indeed! I may try this on my 2 door but does this also work on the four door? I have my project 4 door and the driverside skirt is fux0red. Thought this would be a cool fix for it.

you can probably do it on a four door…need 4door g3 skirts…if it too long cut it from the front or rear if you prefer it
anyone doing this, should head over to rev-auto.com and just buy the mugn side skirts. they look even better and bolt right up.
alright… so i’ve jumped onto the wagon also. I’m wondering if it’s better to cut the plastic piece that goes into the door jamb or just leave it. Is double sided tape in the middle good enough to hold it up? (along with screws for the sides of course).
use double sided tape the whole way if u cut it like mines…

make it 2x d tape in the front, middle, and back
if i were you i would do 3x d tape the whole side

So you cut the whole door jamb part off right? When you made new screw holes, did you coat the metal with anything to prevent rusting?
Oh, and is your car melbourn blue metalic (b50m)? I have the same color and damn… it’s so hard to match!
i dont think this is worth it. unless u get ahold of the sideskirts for free or somethin. just get some Mugen Sideskirts.
