So which parts are needed for swapping out my motor mounts to solve vibration problem? Most of the rubber parts on my engine look worn. Someone said that the rear mount was around $300? The only thing that comes close to that is illustration #2. This is called Beam RR. Am I supposed to get that?

If you wanted to replace all 4 mounts, the warn rubber-pertaining OEM parts you’d replace are numbers 4, 5, 8, plus either 6 or 7 (6 and 7 are listed as same part in your above pic).
So then the cost shouldn’t bee too high. I check at acuraautomotive.net and each bushing was around $50-60. I did a search before and thought that someone said that the rear bushing was $300 alone (or am I totally mistaken on what that person said). So 6 or 7 is the rear? I wonder why the different part numbers???
Items 6 & 7 have the same part number on www.acuraautomotiveparts.net, so you needn’t worry there. 300 dollars sounds more in tune with a complete aftermarket bushing set, and not just the motor mounts - however, at 50 bucks a pop for OEM, I’d only replace the ones you really need replacing and are badly worn and/or damaged. Hope it’s not the rear mount because it’s a real pain to get at without the motor out of the car. Best of luck.

hey ive, how you doing, brother? ![]()
just for a little more clarification, vtec-typer, you wouldn’t get 4 AND 5, just in case you didn’t know. get 4 if you have a manual tranny, and 5 if you have automatic.

How stupid can I be to miss that? (it even says AT and MT above each in the pic). Ive = sometimes.
Doing well thank you Johnny, and hope you are as well my friend.
I’m still in search of a place locally that sells that tasty Korean drink you introduced us to. One if these days I’ll find it here. ![]()
Yeah, I have manual tranny, missed that AT and MT
ok, manual tranny it is. so, you’d get the 4, 8, 13, and 6/7.
this post made everyone

oh yea the rear mount is hard to get too, but J. sucessfully did it without taking out my engine hehe, only took him like 2 hours or more i think
Okay, one more screwball question, are 6 and 7 for different motors (Gsr/non Gsr)? How do I know which one?
hmm… hard to say, because the acuraautomotive site shows that they’re both the same part numbers. your best bet for this one is to go to the dealer directly and ask them for yourself which is the proper one. they’ll have that same picture in their parts catalogue (on their computer).
