i was wondering how much it would effect performance if ALL of your motor mounts were broken.
You would notice a substantial loss of torque and your motor might hit the firewall during acceleration. Either way, you are going to want to get that fixed.
Time for new mounts.

Can the motor hit the firewall? I have a b16a and during accerlation or when i press on the gas, I hear this banging noise. When i push in the clutch the noise goes away, but if I’m stepping on the gas when i engage the clutch it starts to bang again.

Yeah that’s what I was hoping was happening… a stock Civic DX was giving me hella more trouble than it should of and I was tripping on why, but the mounts along with the timing belt are being replaced today so well see if that did the trick.
