ok when i shift gears while driving, i can see my motor move back a little bit and then back where it was. of course my hood is off right now. it is kind of jerky when i shift especially if I shift fast at high rpm’s. Also when i turn my steering wheel i can see the powersteering hose kind of jerk, and the steering wheel moves first and then it feels like it catches, could that be the inner tie rod ends going bad? Any help would be appreciated, Also 94000 miles on the car, time to change the timing belt and power steering pump right? maybe that is something to do with it…

The motor’s designed to roll on it’s mounts a little bit. You can solve this and gain some traction by using motor mount inserts like the Prothane or Energy Suspension. I’m not sure they have them for our cars, but they do make mount inserts.
The downside is that your car will shake like the pope at idle.
But again, it’s normal for the engine to rock back and forth a bit.
I have that little problem with the steering wheel, there is like an inch or less of play, and then it all of the sudden grabs. I am not quite sure what it is, I just had 2 new tie rods, and a new rack and pinion installed about 2 months ago. If you find out what it is PLEASE PLEASE let me know. Thanks,
