I can’t find anywhere under the hood where it says what motor I have in it. Where do I look?
There type of motor is stamped on the block.
It is to the left of the exhaust manifold. If your engine is dirty, it might be hard to see. in that case you will just have to clean it.
In this picture to the left of the block you will see a silver bolt below one of the exhaust ports on the head. To the left of that bolt on the flat panal. There you will see the stamp on the block
should be b18 or b17
