Movie remakes based solely on titles.

Take a movie title and re-state the plot to make a new movie based on the title, one that someone would want to see.

Example:

Taken: A worker living in a bad area comes home one evening to find his house ransacked and everything stolen. Enraged, he tracks down the people who took all his possessions in an attempt to take all of theirs, including their lives.

Terminator: A man recently promoted from Tier II tech support into middle management soon finds that the promotion may be more than he can handle as his first assignment is to terminate the contracts of the group from which he was just promoted.

Like that?

Marley and me:

The long-lost biopic of Neville Livingston and his rastafarian exploits on the reggae scene as backup vocals and percussion for one of the most prolific reggae artists in history.

Sharknado: In the Cohen Brother’s latest film, disgruntled employees Tim McCullough (Matt Damon) and James O’Flannery (Colin Ferrel) are fed up with the cut throat atmosphere within the household vacuum cleaner market. They decide to shake things up by defecting from their respective vacuum cleaner companies, Vornado and Shark, and creating their own product called the Sharknado. Watch as the drama unfolds as the Sharknado takes the market by storm and causes everyone involved more problems than they ever could have foreseen.

Prometheus: An automated medication solutions sales/service rep discovers a flaw in a machine’s programming that allows him access to narcotics. After a 5 day “oxy” bender , the rep realizes he can make larger amounts of money by selling the drugs he steals, instead of using them. All seems well until a rep , from a rival company , begins to market a new class of automated solutions called Prometheus.

Oh wait mine is a bio-pic/documentary

The Rain Maker:

Oliver Stone’s take on the desperation of a small time entrepreneur who’s struggling business leads him down a path of destruction and spiritual enlightenment. Vincent Trufano (Paul Sorvino) was a small time strip club owner who always took care of his ladies as if they were his own. With the explosion free of internet porn and online dating, business had began to slowly disappear. In an act of desperation, Vincent hires a Native American dancer (Val Kilmer) who simply goes by the name “Rain Maker” to teach the girls how to bring in the big spenders. An epic tale about self worth, pride, love, hate, and coconut scented booty oil. The Rain Maker will touch your heart while you touch yourself.

Critics rave " Fun for the whole family!" and “I’ve never had to tuck my boner under my belt before leaving the theatre before!”
