Hi guys, I was thinking about getting a msd ignition one of the 6 -BTM series. I was wondering if any of you guys have a msd ign and how much did it improve your performance. Also how much did you pay. Thanks for any info.
no one has an msd ignition?
I am running the 6A. Did it improve performance? NO - not one bit. It did smooth out my idle a little and give me slightly better fuel economy though. Why do you want the BTM series? If you have extensive mods that require you to adjust timing that much and with such frequency, I would suggest you get a controller to do the job of what the BTM series ignition would do. However if you are looking for an multiple spark discharging ignition system, MSD are excellent products and I would still get one if I didn’t have one already.
