MSD SCI-L Problems

Well i got the whole MSD setup dis, wires, ngk iridiums, sci-l ignition, blaster ss coil. anyway whenever i put a rpm chip, and it dont matter which one i still stop at 5rpm even with the 8000chip i wont go past 5.

i drive basicly without the chips so that i can reach my stock redline but i usually hit 7200 redline and by rpm bounces ridiculously before and after it gets there.

anyone have this problem?

oh and i think i have my distributor all the way retarded its the only way i can keep up with my friends and spank vvt-i carollas if not then im stuck in back misfiring and backfiring fireballs.

oh and btw its a 92 ls with short ram intake, headers, high flow cat, 2.25in piping and apexi n1 muffler and it sounds great. atleast i think so everyone else just says its f***in loud and the police say its irritating

is the box setup for a 4 cyl? you are saying it revs to 7200 rpm with no rev limiter pill installed right?

yep the correct wires were cut for the 4cyl. selection no pills in while drivin
