I searched and found three posts about them but those posts didn’t really see anybody actually using them. Wanted to know if anyones used them yet and their opinions. I clicked the link etc that one of the posts had on it but no one really knew about these bulbs. The main reason I’m checking them out is I want a Ion yellow headlight bulb. I travel alot and good ole OR gets foggy as hell and with all the rain I can’t see anything with my super whites. Plus, I’m tired of super whites, lol. Any opinions let me know, or if you guys know of any good Ion Yellow headlight bulbs let me know also. I’m going to do the 9007 bulb mod at the same time. If all else fails I might just buy them but will take pics for anybody else that is wondering also about these bulbs.
Hey man I have tried the super white version of the Mtecs. Not the 4X ones that take alot of wattage but the 2x, which basically use stock wattage. Performance was actually pretty nice considering they were kinda bluesh. I have seen the ion yellow mtecs on ebay and I see that the only ones they have are like 80/100 watt i think. This past weekend I did the 9007 conversion using Sylvania silverstars. Lowbeams are very bright but seem to be pointing a little too high even with headlight adjustment. I dont know, myabe i need to mess with them some more, but I bet the ion yellow mtecs perform pretty good.
Cool, ya I think I will bid on some, well first I think I might check the net and see if I can get any better prices.
Ok won a pair on ebay will take a pic of my current bulbs and the new ones when I get them and post them both.

I used to sell Mtec… damn good bulbs!! looked the best other than raybrigs…
Im using Mtec ion yellow bulbs in my stock fogs. They look pale yellow on the car and shine more of a true yellow onto the pavement. They are very bright, I dont even have to use my headlights at night, just the fogs.
Im pleased with mine especially for the price.
I need to find the card they are on. I will post them as soon as I find the card.
i love MTEC!! Cheaper than PIAA’s but good!! i even have mtec bulbs for my interior light!! hella bright
