I can get a good deal on a muff (canister size) but it would sit really close to the underbody of the car. Would that be dangerous in anyway because of the heat and how much damage can I cause the muff if I keep scrapping it? I don’t care about scratches but don’t want to damage it so bad that I sound like a ricer. BZZZ bZZZZZzzzzzzzz
He said muff…
I can show you the burn hole on my bumper from the muffler tip sitting to close to the top (where the bumper is)
Chado
yeah but it’s going to be to close to my underbody but I don’t want it cooking stuff in the trunk (how much space is needed between muffler and underbody)

Ha ha ha…
i dont think you can handle a muff that big. look what happened to chado when he tried to tame the big muff. it burned his bumper…
too big…hhehhe onc i had a apex dunk muffler on my sedan…that thing is pretty much the biggest you can get. it was as high as it could go…pretty much touching the underbody…as for heat in the trunk…no concern…its the scraping you have to worry about. i was lowered with just pro-kit springs and almost every driveway i scraped…not to mention the speed bumps.
i changed to a smaller mufler because of the scraping problem. HTH
Keep that big muff from scraping

You can slap a heat sheild (basically just a square peice of metal that will deflect heat) under the car with rivets right above where the muffler will go.
Good Luck!
man, as soon as a guy says muff, it will call the comber society! where are they?
