Mugen Lip.

I was thinking of putting a lip on my car.
I found a Mugen ABS front lip for cheap for a 4dr EG.
Would this fit on my 91 front bumper?
Has anyone tried this before? If yes what sort of mods would I need to do to get it to fit?

I’ve seen G1 lip & 94 Accord Lips on DA’s, just wondering what other options are out there.

I believe the civic bumpers are bigger than ours so it’s going to be shorter… correct me if I’m wrong but let’s just say if fits the DA, just trim the sides and use a heat gun to bend it to the shape of our bumpers and you’re good to go…

I’ve seen a similar lip on JDP’s site called Front Duct lip or something like that but it’s only available on the 92-93 bumpers.
Is there a reason why it won’t work on a 90-91 bumper.

cuz jdp only comes carbon fiber and you don’t wanna do mods to it cuz its too pretty to …jdp for 90-91’s clean too

I had a mugen lip on my 91 front bumper i used the 98 civic lip. a little short, and u need to trim a little
heres pic, yes my car is mugly and this was like a year ago

haha, thats my old 91 LS up there. i didnt even think those pics were still around! wow! that has to be from about 2-3 years ago.

those are from a 95 accord. (front lip and sideskirts)

had to modify both to fit the car. took about two inches out of the center of the front lip, and around 5" (?) off the sideskirts. other than that, they actually fit fairly well, and IMO look great on the car.

you will all see them making an appearance soon, as i had to resurect the teg, it got hit shortly after being finished last year. version 2 will be even better, and a little bit more rare…
