Deleteee!
Its in good shape,id pay no more then 3k tops but that’s pushing it with the high miles.
$2,000 is the max i would pay
yes you did alot of mods but most people would rather buy a cheap car ( sub $1000 ) and do those mods because they have to.
The major things to make your car worth more money are maintence items. If all your maintence items are up to date you will get more money. No one wants to pay top dollar for a bunch of after market stuff when they also need to preform alot of maintence.
Maintenance def. has been up kept shes my baby lol, and lots of new parts/everything is basically new. The only thing, I’m not to sure is when the last time the timing belt/water pump was replaced. Owner b4 me was an older lady and she seemed to keep it in good shape and do regular maintenance as I have a folder full of receipts. Body is good to go for another few years, engine/tranny are good still i’ve seen many hondas/acuras with over 400 000km, she’s only done half her life if it keeps being well maintained clutch is new so don’t need to worry about that for awhile etc etc.
Keep the comments coming!
the demographic you will attract by removing the aftermarket parts and bringing the car back to a stock, well maintained vehicle are the ones you should be after. you’re a lot more likely to sell it to somebody in that form. plus, you’ll be able to recoup some money selling off the parts. otherwise, you probably won’t get much, if anything, for them. who knows though, you could get lucky. i’m just stating that the chances are much lower. that is, assuming you have the stock parts still.
that being said, new paint (which does bring the value up considerably), if there haven’t been any accidents declared on the car, that’s a plus too. obd1, relatively well maintained, probably looking at about 2500-3000$.
all you have to do is look at FS ads in your area of cars similar to yours to find what the market is at
I’d prob sell her for $2500ish without the 16" rims/tires as they are brand new and cost me over $900, and replace with stock steelies wit good rubber. I’m thinking that’s prob my best bet.
I know I won’t get close to what i’ve put into the car that’s the gamble with modding/fixing cars most the time you take a loss unless you do part out the good parts and replace it back to stock. Or unless like you said welfare get lucky with a buyer who likes the way the car is as it is and buys it!
So it’s either continue to keep the car and putting money into it that I’ll never see again, or sell it and buy a car that’s already got alot done to it so I’m not wasting to much money into modding it.
Decisions I love my integra but some days I hate it, love hate sorta relationship lol
a lot of people who mod enjoy the process. the transformation. IMO, that’s what it’s all about.
to each their own though
You might say you keep up with maintence, but to what exstent? Have you replaced all bushings, balljoints , tierods and shocks? I hate a car that has slop in the steering.
^ well, everything is new that needed to be changed, or that I wanted to replace. And the maintenance normal stuff like rotors, pads, air filter, oil changes, wipers, spark plugs, tires, springs, upper strut mounts, exhaust, lights, rust/body work has been taking care of already. I’ve been lucky enough to not have to worry about ball joints, tie rods, shocks etc… as of yet. Front end all seems tight smooth to drive, handles good, shifts smooth, no grinds and runs great! Only thing that needs work is the rear lca bushings as i mentioned, not really looking forward to that as the bolts can be stubborn so i’ve been pushing it aside for awhile, i’ve got some rear lca bushings from Honda ready to be put in whenever so that makes the rear end a little rough on some of the shitty roads mainly potholes n cracks which I always try to avoid. Wasn’t driven in winter last 2years, i’ve put bout 20 000km on it in 3 years so it’s not driven a hell of a lot.
I’ll prob take it in for a safety check and see what it may need b4 I settle on a price.
