My 93 GSR

Its gonna be a long road to make this thing look how i want it to but it will get done.

It was a bone stock GSR when i got it. An old man owned it since it was new. I havent done much to it except paint the bumper lights, fogs, and corners. I also re wired the fogs and added dual filament sockets to the bumper lights. By the way, this is my 3rd G2 Teggy.

I have JDM 1pc Headlights that i blackhoused that will be going on soon. I also have some hyper black w/ polished lip Rota RB wheels on the way. As well as a short ram intake and new shifter bushings. Other mods will come as the funds allow it.

this is when i brought it home

just got these in today and blackhoused them.

gotta decide on h4h bulbs or modify them to fit regular h4 bulbs

got the 1pc headlights modded to fit h4 bulbs and im in the process now of wiring them up . took some mock up pics just to see how it was gonna look.

thanks. i was scared to rip them apart but they came apart so easy using the oven. i just need to polish the lenses up now and finish wiring up the headlight adapters

yeah its still the oem paint too. Eventually i will be doing some minor body work repairs and have a friend respray it back oem white but without the pinstripe

here is the finished product of the JDM 1pc fully installed. modified to fit H4 bulbs, fogs wired up and corner lights in. just need amber bulbs for the corner lights now.

Never seen a DB2 with factory pinstripes. If you had the original paper work it’d be interesting to see it listed as an option. Could be rare.

i dont have the paperwork but the stripes match the design of the stripes my old 91 GS had. i had no idea the GSR doesnt normally have the stripes

here are my new wheels. next plan is getting it dropped. its already in the works just waiting on the parts.

got some goodies today. JDM sidemarkers, JDM Tri-Y header, motor mounts, oem front lip, and 94-95 accord rear lip. gonna put them on soon.

thanks. oem front lip is on. gonna be doing the header, mounts, and sidemarkers in the next few days. and possibly the lowering springs too.

nice gsr bro, i’ve always wanted a white one, but my Milano Red DB2 will suffice for now:p i’m curious to see how much quicker your car will be with the tri-y header, please post some feedback after install. What kind did you buy btw? my b17 is still bone stock other than a AEM SRI.

i bought the header from a good friend of mine but im not sure what brand it is. its still got a couple of the springs that hold it together but somebody tack welded it to keep from slipping apart :frowning:

Both of my AGP DB2’s had factory grey pinstripes, same style as the OP.

BTW, very nice pickup!

Got the Accord rear lip on and went out last night with a buddy for a small shoot. Sometime this week the header, sidemarkers, and mounts will go on and ill have pics up of that stuff too.

Me likes…just lower it quick! those rims were on my list…ended up getting the Drag DR-31’s tho

as soon as the parts come in it will be dropped 2.5 inches front and rear. cant run too low where i live cuz our roads suck bad
