Hey all. I was just wondering something. I have a 93 integra RS that I am trying to convert to jspec and make type R. I know i have alot of work ahead of me, but I need some very pertinant information. I have been checking out this site for about a year now, and haven’t posted my teg in the member listings because I want it to be done before i do.
Anyways enough rambling. I was just wondering what is the Japanese equivalent to the type R of that year, xsi or whatever? I’m not sure… I also want to know where I can find information as to what engine I need to put in it and how much horsepower the japanese type r of my model year has. Anyways, If anyone can help me out, i’d be very appreciative.

The ITR didnt go into production until 1997. That means that there are no DA ITR’s. The top of the line JDM DA was the XSI, which had a b16. The USDM GSR had the b17.
As you can see, the US had an advantage over the JDM model by .1 liters and 10hp.
