I drive a 90GS. It automatic. When ever i come to a complete stop at a red light my car shakes and makes my cd play skip and i was wondering if you people could help me. i was thinking that maybe i need to disingage more of my clutch when i am at idle. bcauase for right now i just put my car in neutral.

I had my front engine mount replaced (the old one was broken & cracked) just recently and the some of the vibration is gone now. Not all of the vibration is gone, but it is an improvement. The engine mounts are different for manual and auto tranny. The mount cost $45 and the installation was $45.
with the car in park or neutral and if irev i up to about 1500 rpms it stops shaking. but if the cr in neutral or park it shakes less then it is when in a drive gear or reverse thanks for the help
it might be your brakes. that’s what mine is doing because the rotors are warped. but that’s just me.
check your axle nuts and those two little screws in the rotor. They have a habit of of disappering some how
do you really need those screws in the rotor? i was told you really didn’t. maybe that was the reason why my car started shaking…i was missing one. most likely tho, it my rotors just needing to be turned
