here’s a couple of shots of my DA at the Redline event in Buttonwillow Raceway this year… enjoy
What kind of paint is that? Get any rock chips?
I love seeing other DA’s out on the track! It’s good that there are some people out there doing so!
Any tiny rock chips are going to be WELL WORTH the time spent on the track. Plus, you’ll more than likely get more chips driving on the freeway than on the track.
that color is off an Lincoln Navigator. Its called Estate Green. No rocks chips for me got sponsored with an invisible bra :ohyeah:
dude that’s sexy! we should have sex! haha jm

so what suspension set up are you running? and spring rate.
well so far my suspension is stock i got nuespeed springs, spoon strut bar, megan racing c pillar bar, and megan racing lower tied bar (not installed) and i just got some 89-91 ef teins ss coilovers (not installed) i have heard that teins are not great for auto x or road racing:shrug: whats your opinion? do alot of people use them at the track? thanks
good to see the DA at the track, and not just parked on the sidelines…too many “hard” parkers these days.
nice car man… what suspension and tires are you running and is the car still used on the street? I had planned on turning one of my gs-r’s into a street/track car for VIR but I have heard gt live isnt coming in 09 to vir and I won’t have it ready by next weekend
you’re driving on the wrong side of the car! :giggle:
nice color

I’m riding on dc2 spec Tein Flex’s. All my buddy are running on Tein’s and we’ve haven’t had any problems with them yet.

For that event I just ran on some Falken ziex but now I have some Hankook ventus race compound tires. Yes i still drive her the streets some time for meets and a couple of shows. You shouldn’t rush things theres always track days all year long.
i love your car bro. the color, the matching lip, but most of all RHD!!! is it real or converted? anyways love it!!!
hey bryan
was your car at the bOTI car show today?? i thought i saw a green DA with an invisi-bra

yeah… I show it once in awhile
Strange question, maybe I’m just seeing things… is there an unpainted manual mirror on the passenger side and a painted auto mirror on the driver side? I’m assuming that it was just a temporary fix for something?
Also looks like the car doesn’t have a sunroof, is it an RS?
Man, I love this thread, so rare to see DA’s on the track. I gotta get mine out there :bawl:
looks like a USDM unpainted mirror, probably for the mirror glass to get a better view point. i hate how much i have to position the glass out to get the proper angle while driving on my JDM rear view mirrors. and possibly if the car is registered in the US to have the warning on it for DOT regualtions, “objects in mirror are closer than they appear”
great to see a DA at the tracks
wish i could track my car
Are you sure usdm and jdm mirrors are different shapes? I thought the usdm and jdm power mirrors were the same except for the mirrors being different and there being the folding option for the jdm ones…
yeah i was just referring to the glass being different but you can also see the embossed lettering on the mirror housing which means its USDM, JDM mirrors don’t have that lettering there.
Yes, I have one US manual one cause when it was parked in my garage my ladder fell and broke the glass on the power folding one. btw does anyone know where I can buy that glass from or do I have to buy another mirror?
probably a used mirror assembly from the for sale section.
You can buy the mirror glass itself from Honda. They are about $40 from the local dealer and about $30 from the online discount places. I’m not sure how they are attached, I tried removing one from a mirror on our race car and the glass broke before I got the mirror off
You should also be able to get one from a local auto-glass shop.
Used would mean you’d have to buy the whole mirror assembly, not just the glass and you’d probably pay close to what you’d pay for just the mirror glass from Honda. And if you buy used you risk breaking it when removing it. Of course you could practice w/ the already broken one I guess.
Oh, just realized that I forgot your car was RHD… that means the parts from Honda won’t be right. Looks like you need another jdm mirror unless you can find someone who can find the jdm part number and order it from Japan.
