My DA at my first Autocross event

Did my first auto cross today and it was FUN

man i missed this :frowning:

you should of came, next time you need to!

good to see u made it to an autox event

way to go

Yo Matt, glad to see you out there enjoying the car. where was this event held at?

What class is CSM? I haven’t been to the LA region in years.

It was at california speedway and csm is “california street mod”
I can’t wait for the next one, now i know exactly what i need to work on. my suspension felt great, but i have to work on my tire pressures more and also understand the confusing cones lol. I think i’m already addicted!

Nice. What keeps you out of STS?
-nino

probably from all the mods i have, i need to recheck the class rules

STS allows basic bolt ons and suspension upgrades. Check out the STS rules and see if you are eligible. That’s the class you’ll be most competitive in.
-nino

Although the STS competition is pretty tough in Cal Club.

nope, i’m not qualified for that group, too many mods for that group :frowning:

sick!! need to get info on this… i got a few friends that are wanting to do this also.

looks like a blast!

All the info you need is at www.solo2.com

maybe we could have more members from here do some events, that would be fun!

We used to have about 4 or 5 members that were actively autoxing about 5 years ago or so. None are doing it anymore though, myself included. The same group would go out to track events a couple times a year. Ah, the good old days… :cloud9:

Yeah, I remember those days somewhat, i always wanted to go with you guys but never had the chance, i thank Duy for the helmet and a few other og’s for helping me out with my car

i spoke with you about possible damage to our cars.
did u damage anything with ur car?
im working on my car lately, anything to advise with peps autoxing
their dayly drivers?

(p.s. so what are the numbers that kevin posted, i see he was there with you too)

I got no damage to my car, i would say for first timers, make sure you have a good tire pressure and alignment! and walk the course at least twice to understand the cone setup and know what they mean. Ask for an instructor definitely if you are there your first time. Don’t be afraid to push the car, if you hit a cone or spin out, don’t worry about it!
