The header had some issues… I had to cut out part of the subframe and also had to move the fan over about an inch or so.
Im having trouble getting the CRANK PULLEY bolt loose. Not the power steering. I need to swap out the N1 pulley for the stock one so I can have power steering again. (Sorry, didn’t really specify)
Yea, we tried 2 impacts we had here at the house and they didn’t do shit. Waiting for my brother to grab his good one from work.
Also, Got her tuned yesterday! Not the results anyone expected though… and not in a good way. My tuner thinks that the problem lies in the head… I did replace quite a bit in there, BUT I didn’t think to get a proper valve job to ensure proper valve seating… Also, the cams still need to be properly degreed…
Anyways, as it sits right now, it’s basically a GSR haha.
She was quitting at 186hp and 139tq, bringing the revs only to 8200.
Disappointed in the numbers, but I’m glad the maps and everything are straight. Oh well, get the head done, replace the LMA’s while it’s apart, and it should be straight!
I recommend you use the factory crank pulley tool to hold the crank pulley in place while you loosen the bolt. If I remember right it was about $50 when I bought it, however lots of auto parts stores that rent out tools have it available to rent. I opted to buy it and I’m glad I did. I’ve used it several times recently.
Well… I had to notch out the crossmember to make it fit, the fan didnt fit, the plastic shroud was hitting, so that got moved over only about an inch. As for the AC, I yanked the rest of that out. When i got it, it was already halfway stripped of the AC.
