My DA9 - Ruby

Hello my name is Christina and this is my DA9
Follow me on IG @ tina.tot

I wanted to start my own thread on my slow build
join me

I bought my teggy from a junk yard about 4 months ago looking like this

Surprisingly got it for super cheap! I’m definitely lucky ha
she needed some work done bad thoug, car was sun faded and the whole inside was moldy

when i took her home first thing i did was a tune up and switched out her headlights for some jdm one piece headlights

even just a few things will make her look better

did small repairs to her

antenna broke so replaced that

Put in my arm rest

so glad i have an arm rest ha definitely worth it!

i have a carbon cavalier rear visor for her but i dont have it on now because i do not have the side brackets and dont want it to fly off, so if anyone can help find some please let me know!!

also rewired my fog lights to come one whenever id like them to
sorry for bad picture

And my beautiful Hiro wing <3

Love it and always get comments about it

I lowered ruby on ground control and skunk 2 struts
wheels are enkie wheels they are not hubcaps haha

My friends and I here down in Washington have had a few good meet turn outs for just da’s but weather has been crappy

i love my car

So i guess im to low… other day i was driving and tried to avoid a man hole but hit another one trying to avoid one and broke my gas tank… the man hole ripped my gas tank open like a can opener -.-

literally…

But thanks to one of my friends she helped me replace it in less then an hour

was definitely a shock how bad a flat think can do to a lowered car -.-
but car is up and running just fine

Hard work in the rain pays off :stuck_out_tongue:

Where are your jackstands?

they’re on the sides of the car, i would never go under a car if there wasn’t jack stands

Nice teg, digging the wheels. I actually thought they were hub caps lol. Looking forward to more updates

Ha a lot of people think that ha, thanks it’ll be slow updates but I’ll get there ha

Wow nice DA! I’m not about the low life because it’s impractical and causes bizarre repairs like the gas tank but man this thing is clean. I can see that the car has the all the oem covers inside the fenders…so jealous!

Yup haha I kinda want to raise it up now because of that ha but still unsure
Trying to keep all the oem parts on there ha

Loving the blacked out housings on the one pieces. I was also thinking the wheels were hub caps until you mentioned they weren’t. Looking good so far. Any big future plans?

Thanks ha I need to sand then down again ha they turning alittle yellow
I kinda want to build my motor but for winter I don’t think imma do anything

Keep her coming a lot atta boy looks good! Loving that low look with the hiro! Making me proud in MN

looking good! That gas tank rip is pretty scary. Thank god it didn’t catch a spark! :worry:

If you’re going to go through the process of refinishing your headlights I would suggest using the SEM 21013 that Sean (unified112) reviewed. I personally used it on my civic lights and it works great! Heavy coats work best. I got tired of constantly wetsanding and still having yellow lights but that stuff works really well.
