So some of you might recognize this car. I picked it up from “mebarsh” with a lot of extras a little over a year ago. Its taken me a while to get money and other problems straight, but I’ve been making progress on it and I’m hoping to have it out by the summer.

The same day i bought the car, i bought some Circuit 8s for super cheap just to have something decent on the car, but they’ve since been sold for a profit.
I bought the car, originally planning on just doing a decent all motor LS build. I had already fully built a spare LS head i had, and was planning on using it in my other DA but decided to use it in the db1. When looking for another block, i ended up getting ripped off and the block i got was completely trashed. So to save myself money and headaches, thats when i decided to pull the LS out of the old DA.
After a while I ended up deciding to go boosted, and I’ve caught the boost bug and want more and more of it. So plans have changed A LOT, and im now lookin at a lot bigger numbers. I’ve now ditched the LS boost build (possibly going BACK in my other integra unless i find a EF wagon) and I have a fully built JDM ITR motor patiently wating to go in the db1 and get boosted.
So for now the build this…
Engine: '98 spec JDM ITR, aebs sleeves 81.5mm, CP 9.0:1 pistons, Manley turbo tuff rods, micro polished crank, Ferrea Valves, Crower springs and retainers, ported and polished by Inline Pro, Inline Pro fuel rail.
Transmission: FOR NOW i have a JDM b16 cable tranny with OBX LSD.
Suspension: FOR NOW im using my old Skunk2 Pro S1 coilovers, Blox purple rear LCAs, Suspension Techniques 3/4" rear swaybar, camber kit, Energy Suspension master bushing kit.
Ive also got a carbon fiber hood for it. and im not sure if im going to be using one of my sets of JDM one pieces on it, or if im going to use the ebay black housings.
Pretty much the same… i had almost all of the money to buy everything to get it running and tuned, but got laid off back in october… so ive been living off the project çar money.
