Mugendaxsi, I’ve asked you b4 and i dont remeber if you answered or not but is that the original paint, if so how did you get it to look so damn clean, if not who painted it and how many coats or what steps/is there any pearl or anything different then the stock jasper green color etc etc.?

my bro used to have a 89 civic si and he took care of that thing like it was his baby…staying up till 4 in the morning waxing it after he drove it and stuff like that… i guess that’s where i picked up my habit of just keeping my car clean…it’s been garaged since day one…waxed on a monthly basis…hardly driven after 1996… it is factory jasper green with no pearl…both the rear quarter panels, roof, and both doors are 100% original factory paint. the trunk, both bumpers, and hood have been resprayed. the front fenders were blended to make a better color match with the hood. i’m too anal about the DA…i guess i just babied the condition of the car… i think i got tennis elbow from all the waxing…
Man thats awesome, you get some major props, all my friends make fun of my ass for cleaning my car religously but hell you have me beat no problem, I was just asking this cause I have a jasper green teg and i wanted to get some panels resprayed and get em all blended also cause im anal like that too, and i was just curious because if i got the whole car resprayed i hope it would only turn out that good, much props to you Dave:bow:

Us jaspers must stick together we are very few, prolly more rare than the good ol aztec green gsr’s, and what brand cf hood do you have Dave, saw the pics in that thread on honda-tech it, looks to fit perfectly.
inlinefour brand…i don’t think it’s their carbonworx brand because they tried to pull a fast one on me when i went to pick it up from them…this is my second hood from them because the first they tried to give me SUCKED ASS!!! they said it was a carbonworx but i refused to accept that 1st hood cause i hated it from the moment i saw it…2 weeks later they gave me this one…i really dunno what brand it is, but it’s from inlinefour.

yeah that was probly me… was on an ice run for the margaritas last night hahaha. and fyi my VIS hood has that same yellow jibberish sticker too… your’s might be a VIS aswell… unless we both have bootleg cf hoods LOL…

yeah, “VIS” that’s what i’ve been told by a few people here and there…it just might be one of the very 1st versions of their hoods. but then again, i’ve never seen any other VIS hoods with the small/tight carbon weave like .J.'s and mines…BTW, where the hell is .J.??? i hope he’s done moving into his new crib…i wanna see his garage set-up…:naughty: :whoa:
