My Exhaust sounds like shiet!

I’ve tried everything…i think. Sounds like every part of my stock (11 year old) exhaust is rattleing. The pipe and muffler and cat are still good and not rotting. But it seems that everything is just making zzzzz…zzzzzzzzz…zzzzzz noises. I’ve crawled under there with wire and tied just about everything i can see, and it helps a little but i think it’s pretty much hopeless:(

I would buy a new exhaust but that seems a little too steep for me right now.
Any other idea’s or hints i can try???

It’s just the old-age Dan! Nothing much you can do about it… maybe there’s a tiny hole on the top of the muffler which is making it buzz.

And that tiny hole will make things worse… it’ll start to russsssst to hell (like mine ;( )

kick it a few times. bang on things to hear for rattles. if not ya i guess its internal. remove it and dropkick it

that happened to me it was the top heat shield on the cat-took mine off- no heat problems

Take it to a muffler shop…

…most shopz offer a free inspection if your short on dough and if something iz loose or rattling or haz a hole, they could weld those spotz to make them secure & sealed. HTH
