Went to the track for the first time in my 1992 integra gs with 150k on it and just intake and no muffler. My first run was a 16.7 cuz I got excited and launched at about 6k lol. But my best run of the night was a 15.8 @ 86mph. With a .5 reaction time on NOT a 500 tree. I’ll post my 60ft times tomorrow when I locate my slips.
I just looked at my time and my 60 ft was 2.3 is that good just for some all seasons?
I’m goin to the track agian friday but I’m gonna take out my spare and back seats and stuff and lower my tire pressure.
fun isn’t it?
i dont know if you numbers are good, i only run at an 1/8 mile track.
but practice your launches, that will make or break your et. sometimes i’d launch too high (better for me, i have a b16a) and spin out of the hole. but if i launch too low i bog down and that kills me. i get better 60ft and 660 when i launch high and spin off the line.
i’m not a pro but my advise is to drop your tire pressure in front to about 20psi, and launch at like 3500. and watch out for that rev limiter, that hurt my time real bad when i bounced off of it.
Man thats GREAT!! You have given me hope now for my upcoming Track Debut tonight…Haha. I am running my 91 RS tonight for the first time. The only mods I have is cut-off muffler and Removed Intake resonator. I am thinking about luanching at 4.5K. I don’t wanna go any higher than that on the luanch and I will have to feather out the clutch. But hopefully I will get more than 2 runs in tonight. That was about the time i was shooting for tonight. I am actually hoping for a 15.7…Lol.
We will see…
