My gas guage needle doesnt move!

the light still comes on when low, but the needle is always about half an inch past E. anyone have this happen, know whats causing it or know what to do?

the guy at nalley acura told me it MAY be the fuel pump seding unit, but hes never hear of that happeneing, plus it costs $100. thats too much money to spend running the risk of it not even fixing it.

i’d guess that its the gauge itself. You can pick up an extra cluster for pretty cheap, or just find someone willing to sell you just the gas gauge. If it turns out to be something else just sell the part and get your $$ back.

Or it could be the float

I doubt it’s the float since he said the light still works, just the guage that isn’t working. The light works with the floater, so I’m going with the 91IntegGS on this one, it’s probably the guage.

i have a spare gas guage if you need one, my e-mail is paul3lee@aol.com
