Thanks alot man. Appreciate all the positive feedback.
Got another track day tomorrow at willow springs! So excited to race again! Iāve been craving it. I also bought a dark windshield for my helmet today as well
So after no updates hereās some good ones!
When I raced my car a fee weeks ago I was doing great on the track, having a hell of a great time, and putting down some great lap times. My motor blewā¦ I was so disappointed that it blew. Iāll post up some pics once I get home to my laptop.
But the good news I ordered a new motor for the teg! So excited to get it and put it in next weekend.
So heres some updates of the tegs tear down, and cleaning it up for my swap.
Tear down begins
Me getting down
Terrible injectors!
All out and ready for the new motor!
So this weekend i cleaned up the whole engine bay and prepped it for the swap, and I also replaced my lower radiator support becuase if you look at the pictures in the last post it was really messed up from years ago. So i ordered a new one from oem acura parts and drilled out all the spot welds and welded it all back in.
The old one cut out
All mocked up
All welded up and painted
Engine bay all cleaned up!
resprayed the brake booster
Oh and my awesome rpf1 rolling car i made
Because my new motor doesnt need alot of my old parts, im selling my skunk2 intake manifold, skunk2 chipped ecu, ys1 long geared tranny, obd1 ecu, starter, b18b head milled down 0.030, and stock b20 cams and my ls valve cover

Sorry no updates everyone!
Due to changes in the company I ordered my motor from my motor is coming to my house on monday! Defiantly get some pics of it for you guys!
quick question did u have to fab your seat rails a little bit to work in the car ? and do you know what kinda rails they are im looking for a set of seat rails so i can put my recaroās in when my car is finished
thanks
They were weapon r brackets for a dc that I cut and rewelded for my car, then I bought f1 spec side mounts and welded them up as well. I donāt have any rails itās just fixed to my position I like. Hope that helps
yea that helps i saw someone else just cut and weld the stock integra seat brakets thanks
Since im just waiting on my motor i decided it would be a great time to touch up some paint areas, and to clean up a few parts.
Teg up in the air waiting for its stainless steel brake lines.
Got the interior all buttoned up and wiring all ready for the swap,
Also repainted my xbar and relocated my vacuum sensors,
Gonna clean this ugly thing up too!
You still have that chipped ecu?
Yeah I do man.
looking good man u dont need those vaccum sensor things tho ā¦u can delete them if you want
Oh really? Well then thats defiantly a plus! It wont throw codes with them gone?
The one youāll throw a CEL for is the MAP sensor.
If you āupgradeā to the '94+ style throttlebody/MAP, it mounts directly on top of the TBā¦ simply extend the MAP wire harness and the '94+ setup is completely bolt-on.
Car is looking good manā¦ now, being that you mentioned āwiringā for the swap, is it safe to assume weāll see a vtec powerplant tomorrow?
Oh awesome well then i guess my new motor will change that!
Unified: its very safe to say it will be vtec! ill get some pics up as soon as the motor shows up!
Today I decide that my CF hood was looking pretty crappy so once again i wetsanded it and cleaned it up but this time i used my dads large buffer and it worked so well, looks brand new!
In this pic it has some fuzz from the wheel so dont worry about that.
Mirror finish
Weapon of choice, not included in the pic was 3M aggresive compound
Then I also went ahead and buffed and waxed the whole car, minus using the 3m compound.
Sorry shops looking a bit messy.
3M is the way to go on CF products, it rips off any hazing without issue.
And Iām very glad to see that you didnāt use that on your actual paint lol.
Deleting those vacuum lines is easy if you look at how theyāre hooked up and where they lead, you just eliminate them or re-route them to clean it up. If needed Iāll take pictures of what I did to mine, that way you have somewhat of an idea of what youāre going for. And no, the purge solenoids wonāt create a CEL.
With the unused harness/plug, I just used a big piece of heat-shrink tube and sealed it at the end (melted it together) that way no debris or water get in the engine harness.
Extend the MAP wires about 3-4" and it will plug directly into the throttlebody-mounted MAP sensor. Done.
