Thanks muys much appreciated coming from guys who I’ve looked up to, and read their build threads forever!
Got two small things in the mail today that ive been waiting for in a while,
Nasty old stuff,
Nice and fresh
got myself some new parts to finish off my engine bay,
Also picked this up since I already bought some oem brake and clutch pedals.
Almost finished up! really liking the way it looks.
Let me know what you guys think!
Looks f-ing awesome!! Clean, simple and to the point. You my friend know how to get it done. Very cool. Money and time spent well.:hump:
I recently came in contact with somthing and my lip and i remembered you did too. I was wondering how did you repaint yours. Where did you order your paint and did you sand/prime etc.
I remounted it and then taped off all the bumper, sanded it down till it was smooth again, primed it and got some paint from a paint shop and they put it in a paint can and i went from there. some paint shops ou can give them your paint code and they can put it in a spray can.
Couple small updates today, been working on making a splitter for my car for when Im tracking it. Thought it would be fun to try out. didnt really get to many pics of the process of me making it since my camera was dead, but heres the finished product. And I also got my new 949 lug nuts in the mail, and took of my rally armor mudflaps.
Pretty strong if you can stand on it if you think.
New lug nuts!
No more mudflaps
Did you reclear it?
yes it did. with SEM clear i believe it was.
question about your tires? Do the azenis have good tread life in your opinion? I hear there only last maybe 15-20,000 miles and that is without any track or agressive driving?
Second question is , Are you running a straight pipe ? couldn’t help but notice in one of your pictures? mind posting a video of in car driving?
Been wanting to see a vid of your set up for awhile man. Great job by the way
Umm ive ive only put about 5000 on them and they are wearing pretty well, not to bad with track days and aggressive driving. Overall I love them, very sticky and work great on the track.
No I’m running my cat and a greddy muffler. Sounds very nice I think. Yeah I can post up a video while driving or something sometime soon.
Always a fan of this car… thumbs up.
Get some extended studs for those lugs!
Thanks man! Always enjoying seeing yours as well. Yeah I was thinking the same thing to myself. Probably one of the next things on the list. Just trying to figure out what kind of coilovers I want.
What were your tricks to mounting the splitter?
Nice job, looking good. Liking that splitter.
To mounting the splitter I used the stock tow hooks and welded some angle iron about 8 inchs long on it and bolted it to the splitter with 4 bolts on each side, and that was it. very strong and doesnt look to bad. and the lip is from some camry I saw at the junkyard.
Thanks everyone for reading really appreciate it.
[QUOTE=Teg Youngin;2218528]a couple updates today. I had a DIY day and removed my wing and got some plugs from homedepot and put them in. I also had a run in with my front lip when I was putting the teg on my trailer so i sanded and repainted my lip. And i finally got around to making a turn signal delete and air duct.

Hey i know its been about a year but do you happen to know the product code you used for this spray paint? i also have a jasper integra and been looking for a spray paint color match?
I went to the sem website just couldn’t find out where to find there sprayer’s. Thanks
Great work with the front spliter. im looking forward to your next track day so you can report how it holds up and review any improvements in traction
You just give the shop that supplies the paint the paint code which is bg22m for Jasper green.
Thanks man. I’m happy with it. I make sure to report back on it at the track but I drove it around town with it and held up good with highway speeds. Also I did autocross the car this weekend and it did fantastic with the splitter! Whole lot more traction from what I felt. Car did perfect. Couldn’t be any happier with the swap and tires and everything I’ve done to it this year. You can see the vids of my autocross on YouTube, just look up integra da autocross, I should be the first video if not my user name is Dustin mcqueary
couple pictures i got of me autocrossing last weekend.
