My jasper build thread, G2TEG 2!

love this pic!! Any clue why the splitter was hurting your times?? was it possible to make more adjustments to your suspension in order to achieve better traction at the rear wheels?

I actually softened upped my rear sway bar, and also I lowered the back down a inch, and lowered my rear tire pressure 4 psi. And still sliding all over the rear. I believe I’m gonna defiantly need a rear wing if I’m gonna run the splitter

grab up one of the hiro spoilers their making and see if it actually makes a difference since you track yours!? pat had an original hiro on his

Amazing flawless well done up car, to the point.

Thanks! really like all the love my cars getting.

Update on the x bars Im making for some people, went to a friends shop and used their plasma cam and fabbed up some shock tower C’s to start making them.
heres some pics.

For the X bar can you run it with your seats in it or are they on the way?

There in the way but I’m working on ways to clear them. Just need to figure it out.

Taking orders on these X-Bar? If so, could you send me an email at Silchuki14 @ hotmail.com.

If would have some questions for you but I don’t want to pollute your Build-Up here.

BTW, about your front diffuser, have you thought about having a rear diffuser too? I’m no physician but would a rear diffuser reduce pressure under the rear of the car so it would help with your “tail happy” problem.

Yeah Im starting to take orders, Ill shoot you an email either later tonight or tomorrow,
I have though about it and Ill have to find a day to try to fab one up.

Anyways I got to work on the bar mounts and I like the way they turned out.
Let me know what you think. and btw those arent what the welds will look like.

Oh and heres the video from Thunderhill last friday, it was my two last and fastest laps of the day

i’ll take a GEN 1 x-bar  lol more like the first one you made, just with the edges next the the welds on the inside X portion more smooth , like you mentioned before, I have no back seats

Well this is just a better way to mount should still mount behind plastics, just thought this way would be stronger

I want my xbar to be able to stil have my rear seats please.

Heres a spin that happened on my first session at Thinderhill with the splitter on that made me very tail happy.

Hey Teg Youngin, did that splittler also affect you at low speed turns too?

No not nearly as much as high speed. It worked great at autoX but the track was a little to fast. I think if i trim a few inchs of it to make less of a deck it could help more.

Little update on the xbars for anyone whos interested. Finished up the mounting brackets so now that I got those down all i need is the X and there ready to send out. Also if anyone wants anything powdercoated let me know and I can get a quote on how much it would cost.
Anyways heres the product of the brackets.

Also since I got making the brackets down I can just make strut bars front and rear for you guys as well. Just go ahead and let me know guys.
