This has inspired me to really learn how to weld. What kind of price on strut bars?
Yeah I love welding been doing it for quite some time now. Its really nice to know you can make something that someone ses for 3 times the price.
Still trying to figure out prices but the x bars will be around 250. and if its just a strut bar like 100.
I think Ben Ogle had fender braces as well a few years ago but i can’t find a picture to show at the moment. Awesome work nontheless. Did i miss it or did you say if you powder coated the braces or is it just paint?
Oh really? I didnt know that. No I just painted them, one day im gonna gather up all my parts and get them all powder coated at once.
If you are going to make a couple fender braces, let me know.
fender brace review?
On the fender braces I’ll let everyone know if I decide to make some. And on the review haven’t had anytime to hit the track with them. But hopefully be hitting the track in a few weeks.
Also been looking into doing the legend front caliper upgrade as well. I’ve heard you can use mini cooper brake rotors which can give that offset you need for the calipers. Hoping I can get them on by my next track day

I know the face of those RPF1s have a pretty large step for the face. A friend of mine has his next to my 949s this past weekend and my wheels had a lot more room. Enough to fit a wilwood kit
I’m sure 16’s would fit.
Awe bummer, really wanted those brakes. I really dont want to replace these rims because they are so light. I will just have to try some good brake pads and see how that works.
