I started the long process of polishing the works out for Eibach, the rims are in great shape but they still need some refurbishing. I thought they were 3 piece welded rims so the centers could come out but they are a true three piece so I cant separate them quite yet but I did what I could tonight.
They had a little bit of curb rash nothing terrible though I was able to use a fine file and get them out.
Also a little bit of oxidation
The backs of the rims definitetly needed some help as well.
To show that they are legit
All masked up ready to go!
After a pass with 1000
After 1500
And some 2000 need to get some 3000 tomorrow
The old hardware love the writing and logos on the bolts
Started polishing the hardware too
polishing by hand takes dayzā¦ i would recommend using a drill with a polishing pad
nice wheels btw!
Wow those wheels look perfect! Good luck polishing, man that is some tedious work.
It is some tedious work but Iām gonna do it since they will look so nice all finished and polished by hand. I have a high speed grinder with a polishing pad that will be the final step of the process Iām just merely sanding them to get all the scratches and rough spots out so I donāt have to do it twice, it will come along though! Iāll keep you guys updated with it.
Definitly waiting for the end results on those Works. I personally, would have the center face machined and the lip polished. Also congrats on the HT recognition. For some reason my Mag shop failed to sell that issue and I buy HT every month for the last nine years, I hate I missed your right up.
Works look fantastic on the Teg, canāt wait to see the end result
I liked your other wheels but I have to say those Works are definitely an upgrade! They look awesome on your car!
Those wheels are going to turn out nice after you are done with them. It will be nice to see it down here next month. If you donāt mind, may I suggest using some metal polish on a toothbrush (or a harder version of a tooth brush) to get in between some of the lettering and crevices of the hardware. I really think it will help take it to that next level, but maybe itās just me.
updates dustin!!
show us how the wheels look now since i know you did some nice work on them!
your going to eibach right?

Of course Iām going to eibach man! I got a couple some small things in the works donāt want to ruin all the surprises!
[QUOTE=Teg Youngin;2313661]So I have been looking at getting a new set of rims and a good friend of mine axel foley on here had a set of oldschool work cr01ās that were made back in the 90ās. I told him when he was ready to sell them I would buy them. So that time came and I was on the fence if I wanted them or not so he let me try them on and see how I feel about them and try them out at eibach to see how I felt about them. I dont think I need to wait till eibach to decideā¦ Iām already in love with these rims. So I pulled her outside to take a awesome court photoshoot.

fuckin gorgeous
i remembered when i polished my starks II, have fun lol.
Hey guys long time no updates lol Sorry I dont have any coverage from Eibach with me, I left eibach and drove straight to palm springs for a week of work down here and forgot my cord to sync my camera so sorry about that I will have the rest of the coverage tomorrow, I promise. Anyways Eibach was amazing met a ton of awesome people and got to see lots of cars i have admired for quite a long time. Got to finally meet three of my biggest DA heros as well. I met DAve from The chronicles meet last year. But this year was the year I fianlly got to meet J. and Colin. All three of the guys are great guys and was such a pleasure to meet them and to talk for a good amount of time and to catch up. I took alot from the show and have a list of things I need to work on and things I would like to purchase for the teg as well. Anyways dont want to rant on without all the pics, but here are two photos I really love that a awesome guy took of the teg from the show to hold you off for a day.
that engine bay is motivation
So heres some coverage from the last two weekends, Eibach and Spocom. One in Lake Elisnore and the other in Richmond in the bay. Itās been quite an exhausting few weeks to say the least. We will start out with Eibach. For my first time attending the meet I was personally impressed by the amazing turnout and how awesome all the people there were. Meeting everybody there was such a pleasure and enjoyed talking with everyone.
Start with the drive down to Lake Elisore, My dad joined me again for the show since he enjoys coming to them with me and helps me out with anything when I go. Shows the dedication my dad has to throw his weekend away, and hangout with a bunch of younger people with imports.
Got the integra all loaded up and secured down for the 9 hour drive down south.
Heading up the grapevine
Got the Integra out of the trailer and ready to roll into the show. It felt so surreal to think Iām finally going to Eibach
Waiting to roll into the show, I was so nervous to finally get in there.
Rolled in and parked for the day
But my friend DAve had a better spot so I moved the car to a better spot.
Here are some pictures I caputered at the meet

Thats all my pictures from Eibach. Brians Kswapped DA was there in attendance too, but I never got to shot pictures of it, but I did capture some at Spocom.
I will post up Spocoms pictures later tonight when I get home. Heres a sneak peek picture of the DA from spocom to hold you guys over.
Nice man eibach was great this year, you were definitely holding it down for the DAās. Thanks for the pictures man I was confused when i first rolled in, I was like man someones already snapping away before I could park Lol.
Car looks great as usual. Also I may be stealing your bumper turn signal ram air idea in the near future. Do you ever get hassled by cops for having a signal light out?
You know I have never been hassled before but then again I rarely drive the car so I wouldnt know.
