My new to me DB2 / sorta build thread.

Been a few months since I have been on here to post or even update my thread. Sold all of my Integras except for this one. Scraped the turbo idea in favor of just getting this thing on the road. Got my bent wheel repaired and finally put on the car.

Picked up a slip on K&N filter, Hondata S300 V3 to replace my current V1, and a universal Magnaflow cat to weld into my test pipe.

S300 V3 ( white board ) in comparison to V1 ( blue board )

Picked up a 1320 Performance ramhorn header. It’s said to make decent power. We shall see soon.

This header is a v-band 4-1 design which made installation a breeze.

The downpipe does rest on my front tie bar which can be corrected easily.

Picked up a yellow top Optima 51-series battery which is now mounted in the spare tire well and can be hidden from sight.

Bought a cheap eBay air intake and didn’t really like the polished look so I sprayed it black.

This is how the car sits now. Going for alignment tomorrow morning.

Well, no alignment as of yet. Went to put the fixed wheel on and found that another wheel is leaking from a bend it has so it needs to be fixed as well. I knew it was bent but wasn’t aware of the leak. Shooting for Friday for the alignment and possibly finish up the exhaust.

Man I just want to say what a build. Gave me a few ideas for when I get my integra.

Happy to hear that bro. Good to know I am help provide ideas for people.

Couple of minor updates. Pulled all HVAC equipment out and did an amber LED conversion. Before anyone mentions it, the car won’t be driven daily long. Probably gonna pick up another Suburban within the next few months. The car is geared towards mountain run/autocross use. Alignment was done so the car will drive straight. I am getting ready for new wheel bearings, lug studs, toe arms, and RTA bushings. After all of that is on, my buddy will finish the alignment. I am placing an order for the following this week:

~Skunk2 shift knob
~OEM AC firewall delete plug
~Project Kics lug nuts
~OEM antenna delete plug
~ARP extended studs
~PLM 2.5" test pipe
~Password JDM rear wiper delete.
~Hard Race RTA bushings
~Hard Race rear toe arms

All HVAC from behind the dash is out.

Amber LED dash conversion. I left the HVAC control unit in the dash until I can get more ABS plastic to cut and fill the holes.

Just another shot of the motor.

This is how it sits now.

nice!!

Thanks. Its almost done. Maybe another week.

A new test pipe, rear wiper deletes, ARP extended studs, Zerg neochrome lug nuts, and a new Skunk2 shift knob came in.

These few goodies are coming very soon as well…all Spoon Sports.

Gonna order either my Hardrace RTA bushings and toe arms or a JDP lip next. Haven’t really decided.

PW:JDM wiper delete installed.

Next set of pics will be the Spoon Sports parts. Going to pick up a 94-01 A/C delete plug and put it where the heater core lines would be.

Manifold is starting to change colors.

Also got my Spoon Sports stuff today.

More parts to add to the growing Spoon Sports collection. Next will be wheels and steering wheel. That will be the extent of my Spoon parts.

coming along well brotha

Looking good GAmedic. I’ll be keeping an eye on your progress. Do you still work at the fire station in downtown, near Peters St? I’m not too far from you on Spring St. across the train tracks.

I think you have gamedic confused with me. I’m the firefighter in atl. I’m in the buckhead area now. Coincidentally gamedic and I have known each other for years and have worked together in EMS. We both have agp db2’s as well.

oops, my bad. I was kinda thinking about that AFTER I sent the post…but lets carry on with GAmedic’s thread.:stare:

Thanks man. It’s almost road worthy.

No worries man. Me and Pintos used to work together years ago.

I’m currently saving my pennies for boost.

Sold the SSR mesh in favor of a more functional setup. 16x7 +45 Rays Gramlights.

Better pic with the new wheels.
