Is there any kind of fuse that could have blown. It is stuck in the back position as if someone was riding in the car with the belt on. And when I open the passenger side door, the belt doesnt move and the seatbelt thing makes a sound and the light goes on!! Any Help?
Bring it to acura for their lifetime warranty on their seatbelts. I heard some dealers wont do it for you but it’s worth a try.
check all underhood fuses, particularly one that is 7.5a labeled “backup”. Check all fuses in the fusebox under the dash as well.
i’m pretty sure that the acura dealer will do it for free, my friend took his in and they fixed it. I think that you can sue the company or some bull like that if they don’t and you get into a accident. i’m not sure though.
ANY ACURA DEALER WILL DO IT…if they say no, ask them for that in writing so that when you get in an accident and your are injured do to a faulty safety restraint, you can sue the s h i t out of them
exactly where is the swithc that triggers our seatbelts to go back? i totalled my car after i got it and we had to weld on a new passenger side from the door jam back, since then sometimes it goes, sometimes it doesnt, and sometimes when it does you can be driving down the road and hit a little bump and the seatbelt goes foward like you opened the door or something. whats up?
thanks
