this is wut i did… to stop the beeping
i figured that the beeping thing is right under the vent on the seatbelt warning unit, after examining it for a while
so i took a 1/3 bit drilled thru the vents n thru the black thing straight to the pcp board… now theres a hole there… :ghetto:
i did this expecting to end the beeping but it also ending the flashing… so now there is no flashin n no beeping… n i still have auto seat belts
dont know i think his goal was the beeping it might have got rid of the light to but its been a while since i saw it. but yeah just unplugging it works to you get them Canadian Manual Belts everyone wants for free lol
hey bro i wanna do the same thing like u did but i dont know which part i have to drill.now i only unplugg the green harness so noiw i dont have a automatic seatbelt and its a pain in the ass to mnually do it plus i have a tenzo r seats and the seatbelt dont retract all the way.its a mess so if u have the picture where u drill it thats cool thanks
acura is a bunch of crap at least the service department is. i tried to take mine and get it fixed and they told me it would cost $93 for a 1 hr dianogstic to find out whats wrong, nad they told me theres a chance they cant fix it, not worth my time really esp. for $93!!!
its and easy fix to stop the beeping just look under your selts 9-10 there is a little plug that is disconnected just reconnect it and your done. I just figure mine out today after cleaning out my car. Now I thinking about an H2b on my ls tranny just for a daily driver, and later a K24.
Bro, I was told the same thing- I told them its under warrenty and they said “no problem, this is something we have to tell everyone. If its under warrenty we will not charge you anything”
an hour later I get a call- “we ordered the parts, its under warrenty so when the parts come in we will call you to fix the problem free of charge” + they washed/vacuumed the car
I too have the seatbelt dinger problem so I’m going to see what Acura does…
well they fixed the belts free of charged and washed/vacuum too. But the beeping isn’t under warrenty so I have to do it myself. when I have a chance I’ll check under the seats. Otherwise figure out a way to bypass that and still keep my belts functionable
