My suspension setup... Any Good?

I plan on buying some:
Neuspeed High Performance Race Springs (Yellows)
KONI Yellow Adjustable Shock Kit
Raxles CV Axles (Haven’t determined what stage yet)

I plan on getting the springs and shocks form Modacar, which is expensive, anyone know of a better place to buy? Do you think this setup will work well on my mildly modded car?

Well I have the Koni’s. Love em.

Why are you getting Raxles? You plan on making some serious HP?

I have heard only good things about raxles, I am not getting raxles becuase I plan on needing for the HP, I want them for the durability. I emailed raxles.com and they said that they had “stock” like applications, and also performance applications.

Should I go with a different axles since I don’t need 250 HP approved ones?

Thanks for the response

Yeah I emailed them too actually to find out if they do anything different for autos. They informed me the intermediate shaft can handle up to 500HP.

So I’m looking to get them too, basically for the CVs. I really don’t want to replace them again. I’m not sure if anyone posted about their experiences with raxles though. I looked into the level 1 systems.

email james@titanmotorsports.com …if you’re not a honda-tech.com member, make sure you sign up. if you are a honda-tech member you can get 4 new koni yellows for $500. cheapest new price anywhere. you may also be able to get a good deal on neuspeed races there. (i never asked)…if not, check www.iapdirect.com, i got them for $150 shipped there. or www.groupbuycenter.com sometimes good deals there too.

also remember that you will need a camber kit. look at ingalls or skunk2.

Thanks for the info corona and N FUL FX
I have heard that you need camber kit for lowering the car, I didn’t realise I was going to need to get one though, thanks for the heads up  I will probablly look into the skunk2 kit

np. skunk2 seems to be the best, because it replaced the whole upper control arm. however it’s pretty pricey.

and you will definately need a camber kit because the neuspeeds will drop you 2-2.5"

Skunk2 makes A-arms for the DA now? Interesting…

Where can I get one?

Yes so far I have only found the skunk2’s for the 94+ Tegs :frowning:

sorry, i’m tripping.

too used to talking on ti.

ingalls
