ran my teg today. here’s whats done to it. ummmm… absolutly nothing. I just wanted to see what this 204,xxx mile Ls would run before it gets replaced by my b20. anyways, does this slip look ok considering the miles?
by the way its a 90 teg ls/ with some half worn dunlops.
Looks a little slow if you’ve raced this particular car a lot (unless you are well above sea level), but if it was your first time at the track, those times look just fine.
it was my first time at the track with this car. ive only had it a week. If i would have stayed until it started cooling off i prolly could have got a 16.3/2. It was pretty hot out when i ran it, it was around 5 or so.
What altitude was this at? I ran a best of a 16.9 on a stock 90 LS at Bandimere in Colorado. My track is at 6,000 ft above sea level, so my times are at least a second slower than any sea level times. So if you are at 3,000 ft above sea level or something like that, then your times sound right about on target.
I would find out the altitude, then find a 1/4 mile calculator some where on-line and see what your times would be at sea level.
i’ve only run 1/8 mile before, but judging by what that time was, that’s pretty decent for the first time. once i got the hang of it, i was running 10.3 consistently with i/e.
