i got skunk stage 2 cams in my b16a and it sounds like a machine gun when it engages at 4.7 rpm. there is also 2 extra wires that isnt connected but theres no place to put them, there both green of the same clips, would that have anything to do with the vtec? damn this is the second time this is happening i sent the head back to the machine shop because i thought the valves were to big. somebody please help

maybe vtec is kicking in 2 early…are those High end cams? For me, I have JG cams and they don’t pull till at least 6k.

my car doesnt start to pull till about 6k rpm but it is a slight pull and yes they are high end cams. i guess i’ll have to get my ecu chipped with no rev limiter and a vtec xover at 5.7 rpm… i’ll let you guys know how it goes… thanks for the replys guys!
